4. Appointments and healthcare services
Treatment and recommendations provided by Her7 are individualised and based on the information available to your practitioner at the time.
You are responsible for providing information that is accurate and relevant to your care and for advising your practitioner of material changes to your health or circumstances.
Your practitioner may modify, postpone or decline a treatment where they consider this appropriate for clinical, professional or safety reasons.
Your practitioner may also recommend that you seek assessment or treatment from another healthcare professional where appropriate.
5. Informed consent
Clinical treatment is provided subject to appropriate informed consent.
Your practitioner will provide relevant information about proposed treatment, including material risks where applicable, to assist you in making an informed decision.
You are encouraged to ask questions about your care.
You may decline a treatment or withdraw consent at any time.
Consent to one treatment or appointment does not require you to continue with future treatment.
6. Treatment outcomes
Healthcare responses vary between individuals.
Her7 does not guarantee that any treatment, service, product, prescription, recommendation or treatment plan will produce a particular result.
Information about potential benefits or expected responses should not be interpreted as a guarantee of outcome.
7. Complementary healthcare
Services provided by Her7 may be used alongside conventional medical care where appropriate.
Our services are not intended to replace medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment where these are required.
You should continue appropriate care with your GP, specialist or other healthcare professionals and should not stop or alter prescription medication without consulting the healthcare professional responsible for prescribing it.
8. Bookings
Appointments may be made through our online booking system or another booking method offered by Her7.
You are responsible for ensuring that the contact information associated with your booking is accurate.
Appointment confirmations and reminders are provided as a convenience.
Failure to receive an appointment reminder does not cancel or alter an existing booking.
9. Cancellations and missed appointments
Appointment times are reserved specifically for each client.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide the notice specified in the cancellation policy provided through our booking system or at the time of booking.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a cancellation fee where that policy has been disclosed to you at or before the time of booking.
We recognise that emergencies and unexpected circumstances occur and may exercise reasonable discretion in individual circumstances.
If Her7 needs to reschedule or cancel your appointment because of practitioner illness, emergency or another circumstance outside our reasonable control, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and arrange an alternative appointment.
10. Fees and payment
Current appointment fees will be displayed through our booking system or otherwise communicated before the relevant service.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due at the time the service or product is provided.
Fees may change from time to time.
Any change in fees will apply to future bookings and will not retrospectively alter amounts already paid or agreed.
11. Private health insurance
Some healthcare services provided by Her7 may be eligible for private health insurance rebates.
Eligibility, benefit limits and rebate amounts are determined by your individual insurer and policy.
Her7 cannot guarantee that a particular service will attract a private health insurance rebate.
You are responsible for checking your eligibility and level of cover with your insurer where necessary.
12. Products
Her7 may recommend or supply health, wellness or other products.
Where a product is recommended in a clinical context, the recommendation is based on the information available to the practitioner at the time.
You are responsible for:

advising your practitioner about relevant medications, supplements or allergies
storing products appropriately
keeping products away from children where relevant.
Please contact your practitioner or seek appropriate healthcare advice if you experience an unexpected or concerning reaction.
13. Returns and refunds
Change-of-mind returns may not be available for certain products, including products that have been opened, used, specially ordered, personalised, compounded or dispensed for an individual, particularly where health, hygiene or safety considerations apply.
